We have finally reached our goal of collections for the Mali Health Organizing Project! 15000NOK (or 2000€) will be transferred to the malian organization before our departure in January. This amount will for example help over five thousand women with medical care or provide mosquito-nets for over 1000 families in the slums of Mali. As they say “A little goes a long way in MHOP” Thank you again for all your contributions.
Further donations will be gathered for the project of building a school near the town of Gabu in Guinea Bissau. This is a joint collaboration project from all the participants of the B2 rally.Illiteracy rates can be as high as 80-90% in some rural areas in Guinea Bissau. A village school can not only teach boys and girls elementary math and literacy skills, but can also save them from being day laborers, which is a common problem in this part of the world. Read more about the schoolproject here. Be a part of this great project by buying a tshirt in our webshop, or by donating directly.
